FVIT MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

This is an application for membership as a partner in the Fox Valley Investment Team, an organization that invests in common stocks. Before applying it is important to carefully read the latest edition of the Fox Valley Investment Team Policy Manual to decide if the club is right for you. This is an important decision because you would be a co-owner of a business. Some key points are:

Everyone on the team participates in stock research, investment decisions, and administrative duties. The objective is investment education as well as financial profit.
The club trades aggressively in stocks of relatively small companies, so contributions should be considered a high-risk and long-term investment.
Members must place a priority on attending the bimonthly meetings.
Access to a computer and the internet are required.
The minimum initial contribution is $2,000 (or $500 plus $50 every two months).
Past performance of the team is no guarantee of future performance.
Any profits are taxable as personal income.
Membership is subject to a unanimous vote by the team.
